Where can I find large cheap rugs to go in my apartment?
Im going to be moving into a small one bedroom in a few weeks but the whole place is tile flooring. There is no carpeting at all.(its what I can afford) but anyway I wanted to know some suggestions on rug types and good places to purchase them. Im also going to be having a baby in 2 months and I know this tile is going to be cold so i need some suggestions on rugs that will help with some vinillation. By the way im in the bay area california so places out here would be helpful!

Most towns have stores that deal in overstocked goods or surplus. In Kansas City, there is a chain of Builders Surplus stores that sell everythink from rugs to lumber to toilets. I doubt they are a national chain, but thats the sort of store you’re looking for. They sell most items at 40-60% of retail cost.
Another idea would be to make your own (depending on your budget and decor). I once made a fun fur rug for a friends 70′s style living room for less than $25. I’ve seen handpainted rugs made of canvas, backed with neoprene, that can add a nice personal touch if you have any artistic ability.
