What's the best way to hang a rug on the wall?

We have a hand-woven 3 X 4 foot rug from Guatemala that we’d like to display.

  1. Tita says:

Install a curtain rod holder. Use clips…you can buy them at bed bath and beyond or a craft store…to hold the rug and add decoration.

  2. kingsgirl says:

You could mount it on something (like strong cardboard) then attach the cardboard to the wall.

You could hand it with fishing wire (tacking sounding I know) but you will do less damage perhaps to your rug.

You could put it on hooks (if there is a spot for the rug to hook onto).

Last idea…double sided tape. Don’t do it.
