What is the best way to vacuum a shag rug?
My rug is covered in hair but it gets wound up in the vacuum every time I try. Help!

Most all vacuums have a setting that will lower and raise the brushes. Just raise it up as far as it will go.
In the direction that will rasie the nap up, or any way then use a rake to bring up the pile.
As for the hair, please try to dispose of hair in the trash first, and if need be, sweep with a broom first on the rug.
