What is the best way to get grape juice stains out of a rug without putting it in the washing machine?
My son dropped grape juice on my kitchen rug, and I don’t want to put it in the washer. I don’t have any carpet cleaner here, and don’t want to run out to buy some.

use a cleaner to scrub the stain then get a towel lay it over the stain and get your iron and iron over the towel where the stain is at the heat will lift the stain on to the towel kinda like steam cleaning the carpets
funny this what the experts did when they came to our house and got red kool-aid out of our carpet you don’t leave the iron on there very long and yu have to keep moving the towel so that you are using a clean spot and it worked you can’t even tell that a pitcher of kool-aid got spilled and the carpet is off white
do NOT apply heat; that will set the stain in the carpet.
pour club soda on the stain and soak it up with paper towels or cloth towels whose colors won’t run. repeat until it’s clear. If it’s a very light color or color-fast, you might try adding a Very Small Amount of bleach to the club soda.
