What is the best style or kind of rug will look best in my living room?
I have a beige (suede-looking) microfiber sofa and square leather ottoman as a coffee table. That kind of rug will go well with a new contemporary style home. Would a rug with a beige background look bad? And, where can I find affordable rugs?

I got a great shag rug at Wal-Mart for about $70 and use it in my family room over wood flooring. It’s a soft beige color and adds texture and coziness to the room. Go with a shaggy look and choose any color you like…red? sage? If you do go neutral you can always add splashes of color in other ways that are cheaper and easier to change out.

I would be inclined to go with a patterned rug with browns, rust, gold and/or green in it.
