What is the best color of an area rug for you?
My living room is a dark tan color on the walls. My couch is light tan and burnt oranges, reds, and bronzes are the color accents. My floor is beige tiled. The color rugs I have to choose from are Lichen (dark sage green), Gold, or Sand (Beige). What color do you think would look best I’m trying to get that Tuscan style feeling. Please Help!

The Lichen…if you want the rug to accent the room – however dark colors do show every piece of lint!
If you are looking for a monochomatic scheme go for the Beige…just make sure the pillows, lamps, wall decorations are colorful!
The dark sage green will be a great compliment without being overwhelming (red and green are equally complimentary on the color wheel). Sounds like you’ve got a great room going! It will be beautiful!
