What is a compact way to store area rugs?

Aside from rolling and tying them which I do, what is a good way to store area rugs so they don’t take up so much space? Thanks!

    Depending on how big they are, you could stack them flat, and put them under a bed, or get some of those large space bags that let you vacuum out the air.
