Hello, Thanks for taking the time to read this.
Ok, I have been living on aparments since long time ago, most of them are all carpet (no choice), so now I’m moving to a beautiful townhome with 2 levels, first level where the living/dinning/kitchen are is all hardwood floors, I was just looking for slidders or socks for the furniture so they don’t scratch the wood, my fiance said that the dinning room and the couches will look funny without a big area rug underneath. Do you think that Area rugs are mandatory on hardwood floors? Please share your opinions. Thanks again.

I purchased one of those rug pads that stick to to the carpet to help the rug form moving around. I recently moved the furtinuture around and had to move the rug pad. Now there is a mark where the rug pad originally sat. It’s also a little sticky. What can i do?

I just put down laminate floors for my living room and I bought an area rug. The rug moves when ever I walk across it. I always thought the more expensive the rug, the heavier it was but I guess I was wrong.

We have already tried the non slip pads as well as 2 way tape. The movement will even cause a couch placed on the area rug to move. We are reluctant to use nails as we don’t really want to cut either of thr rugs.

I am moving to an apt with all concrete floors and need to put some type of rug in living area. Only problem is that I don’t want my dog to have an accident on the rug. Any suggestions on where to get a type of rug that is washable at home, or maybe an alternative?
