How to clean a wool rug?

Hi, I had a wool rug in cream in my lounge & my piglet did a few wee wee’s on it, although I blotted it with kitchen roll until dry then scrubbed it with carpet cleaner, it looks a bit stained in places. I used my vax carpet washer on it & now it smells really bad & has stains on it still & is out in my conservatory until I solve the problem. Does anybody know what I can do please to bring it back like new as it cost quite a lot of money & I do not want to throw it away until I have tried all that I can. Any help would be appreciated, thanks. Jx

Where can I get a cheap but cool and modern rugs in SF ?

Hi, I have to cover 80% of my apartment in rugs and so its a lot of money… I need a big rug for the living room, 3 runners and one medium rug for the other areas. I just cant spend 300$ on the living room rug and than probably another 300$ if not more on the others.
I dont like those persian ones, what I do like is cool designs, like ovals drawn on the rug for example, or leaves…
I am looking on craigslist (its almost impossible though to find matching ones ), but besides that – where else can I get it ? I am located in SF and I have a car.

I’m looking for a giant rug for my dorm room next semester but I don’t even know what kind of rug to look for. I want something incredibly soft but I don’t have the money for something like these alpaca fur rugs I keep seeing. Does anyone know what types of rugs there are out there? The softer, the better! Never lived in mobile home before (second home)–rugs are old, etc.–already had them professionally cleaned–wasn’t worth the money.

Any special wall to wall rugs that are cheap and would protect, insulate flooring would be helpful.

Also, would it be feasible to put vinyl in bathrooms and kitchen–currently rugs.

I am in dire need of carpeting in our upstairs. We have what used to be beige but we also have kids and pets. The wall-to-wall up there is over 14 years old.

To save money, I was looking at Lowes and saw they have carpet tiles. Are these similar to bathroom tiles, only carpet? Don’t seams show or squares come loose?

Any firsthand knowledge of these would be so appreciated.
