Anyone can help me how my rugs stop from shedding?

Does anyone know how to stop or lesson a pure wool rug from shedding as mine is driving me mad!!

I bought the rug off ebay and the previous owner had owned it from new for 2 years so its no brand new and they are supposed to lesson the shedding of fibers as they older and used more and more, previous owner paid £400 for it and its a huge one! its pureoff white/ivory and ive just proffessionally cleaned it but the hair is driving me mad (it was shedding before and after cleaning) im hoovering twice a day sometimes more and the hair gets on the kids clothes etc.
I know wool rugs shed and i bought this one for its size and obvious good quality but i was not expecting this MUCH shedding lol.

Ive heard silicone spray can help or hairspray but wondered if anyone who owns a wool rug has tried and tested any of these methods or any others and can advise as to which is best….

How to take care a wool rug ?

I have a large wool rug, its ivory in colour and around an inch thick, 5 ft wide and 7ft long, its not dirty with stains but just looks a bit grubby to me and picks up all sorts of fluff etc, i hoover it everyday as the fibres off it get everywhere ! even though the label says not to hoover it, it would be impossible not to ! they are static and stick to the hoover and the tv, the rug is approx 4 months old.
The lable states -
100% pure new wool pile, do not hoover, do not dry clean, do not bleach, colourfast,

My questions are -
How do youstop the static fibres being lost ?
How can i make it look not so grubby ?

Any ideas are appreciated !
washing machine is out of the question due to its size !

Someone knows where can I buy a reasonably priced black and snow white zebra print ( open to another print) area rug?

I have looked at hundreds of rugs and they are ALWAYS cream, ivory or even off white and black. I am looking for a rug that is the whitest white and the blackest black. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I would be open to a print that is not zebra if it’s ultra modern. Also I don’t have tons of money so nothing super expensive.

Does shag area rug over a white carpet in the living room is pleasant to look at?

I was thinking of putting a spaghetti shag rug (ivory or silver) on top of my white wool carpet in the living room and putting a modern coffee table on top of it. Do shag rugs on carpets look ridiculous and are they only meant to be used on hardwood floors?
