Any ideas on hallway runner rugs?

I have 2 runner rugs in my hallway over my wood floors. There is a carpet pad between them, but I was wondering what I can use to keep them together. They slide apart after a few times walking down the hallway. Any ideas? And for any red necks out there, I’ve already tried duct tape.

Our home has a very dramatic entry hallway with multicolored slate tiles on the floor in all kinds of colors, but mainly, blues, oranges, reds and yellows. A staircase lands in the hallway with beige carpeting. I need to put a rug in the entry hall and confused as to what kind of rug would look good against such a floor. I appreciate all advice.

what are those plastic clear rugs called, and where can i get them?

I’m looking for a runner style matt for the hallway – but those clear ones – they look a bit like bath matts (?!) Very hard to describe! Do you know what they are called or where I could get one? I can’t see them on any rug sites and am thinking they probably sell them on ebay but I don’t know what to search by! Many thanks
