What is the best color of an area rug for you?

My living room is a dark tan color on the walls. My couch is light tan and burnt oranges, reds, and bronzes are the color accents. My floor is beige tiled. The color rugs I have to choose from are Lichen (dark sage green), Gold, or Sand (Beige). What color do you think would look best I’m trying to get that Tuscan style feeling. Please Help!

I’m an interior designer but for me it’s harder to do my own place than other people’s places since I have to LIVE with it and don’t have the money to change it whenever I want to. We have a dark brown and light beige area rug (shaggy), a rustic red entertainment center, big overstuffed blue couch and love seat.
Our favorite colors are: brown, red, black and some lighter neutral colors. We love Asian styled themes and rustic styled, too. Any suggestions??
we placed an area rug over carpeting and it keeps moving. How can we stop it?

We have already tried the non slip pads as well as 2 way tape. The movement will even cause a couch placed on the area rug to move. We are reluctant to use nails as we don’t really want to cut either of thr rugs.

I have an multicolor area rug with paisley type designs throughout. The colors in the rug are blue,red,green,chocolate brown,and tan. My couch is chocolate brown. I recently purchased some toss pillows. I have solid tan pillows and I bought pillows with blue and green paisley design with tan background. Should I match my toss pillows with my area rug or do something different. I need help!
how do you add material to a round rug in 3ds max?

So i made a cylindar in 3ds max, but then when i want to add a cool pattern to the rug, the material ends up normally on the long side of the cylindar (not the two cicular faces, if that makes sense) but on the faces the material kind of messes up and you cant actually see the detail at all. is there a special way to do this, so that the material shows up the same detail on all three sides?
also, do any of you know any good tutorials for a haunted house? like i really need a haunted house couch and walls and cuboards and candles??

I want to paint my walls a different color other than white, the color it is now. i have a hardwood floor right now, but have huge rugs that are burgundy and some are burgundy and the center is a tan color. my kids are 7 & 8 yr olds so i dont wont carpet just yet. but when i do i want a burgundy color. i have my living room thene is magnolias. the back ground color of the pictures are a tanish color. the color i think is the closest to matching is a pecan twist. i found the color swatch at wal-mart. anyway someone help please. and also what color couches would look good with all these colors? because i want to change it also. right now i have a huge blue sectional. i want just a regular couch and chair what colors would look good. thanks in advance!!
What’s the best way to get old hard gum out of rugs?

The gum is under my couch but I still want to remove it without losing any color from the rugs. The gum has been there for a while and its flat and embedded in the rug.
