How can I keep my black bathroom rug clean?

It constantly catches lint I am going to get rid if I can’t keep it clean. I vaccum constantly any suggestions on how to keep black rugs clean?
they are a constant pain in my butt to keep clean! any other colors ok (my shower curtain is red black green and purple) what other color would be best?

I’m looking for a few rugs for my place and wouldn’t mind putting a little elbow grease into it to save a few hundred dollars off a store bought rug (plus get my choice of material and colors).
Any estimates on how long I could expect it to take? How many hours per square foot, etc?
Any time saving suggestions (i.e. using tied cloth rather than yarn)?

Our home has a very dramatic entry hallway with multicolored slate tiles on the floor in all kinds of colors, but mainly, blues, oranges, reds and yellows. A staircase lands in the hallway with beige carpeting. I need to put a rug in the entry hall and confused as to what kind of rug would look good against such a floor. I appreciate all advice.

Well Im a teenager and Im moving in a couple of weeks with my mom and we are going to be renting an apartment and well my room has brown shaggy carpet and its not what I imagine but anyway I want to be an interior designer when Im older so I thought that this might help get started in my career by first working with my room but see Idk how I can work with brown shaggy carpet it looks like its from the 70s so what Im asking is what colors can I use to work with the carpet? I have an multicolor area rug with paisley type designs throughout. The colors in the rug are blue,red,green,chocolate brown,and tan. My couch is chocolate brown. I recently purchased some toss pillows. I have solid tan pillows and I bought pillows with blue and green paisley design with tan background. Should I match my toss pillows with my area rug or do something different. I need help!

I want to paint my walls a different color other than white, the color it is now. i have a hardwood floor right now, but have huge rugs that are burgundy and some are burgundy and the center is a tan color. my kids are 7 & 8 yr olds so i dont wont carpet just yet. but when i do i want a burgundy color. i have my living room thene is magnolias. the back ground color of the pictures are a tanish color. the color i think is the closest to matching is a pecan twist. i found the color swatch at wal-mart. anyway someone help please. and also what color couches would look good with all these colors? because i want to change it also. right now i have a huge blue sectional. i want just a regular couch and chair what colors would look good. thanks in advance!!
