My rug was stained with red in my living room, what do I do to remove the stain?
when i took it up to shampoo the rugs yesterday i found out that everytime i cleaned the red rug it leaked through onto my beige carpet and now it wont come out when i shampoo the rugs. can anyone help?

I would NOT use vinegar, as vinegar is used to set color. It’s used when dying Easter eggs with food coloring.
What might work is some Clorox 2 color safe bleach. I used it when a red shirt got thrown into a load of laundry and the red shirt turned the laundry streaky red & pink and it got all the streaks out of the laundry.
Rit makes a color remover. You’ll find that with the fabric dyes. You might even try Oxy-Clean.
