Is it okay to look at if I have a Persian rug on my wall?
I have a Persian rug hung on my wall. My girlfriend says that the rug is ugly and that hanging rugs on the wall — ugly or not — is tacky anyway. I think the rug is attractive, and that hanging rugs on the wall in general is a perfectly non-tacky method of decorating one’s house.
What do you think?

I agree with your girlfriend. I would put it on the floor, maybe in a place where there is not alot of traffic through your home, if you value it that much. Maybe put it in your office or somewhere in your space, where your girlfriend doesn’t see it often. lol. good luck with that.
Yes, tacky!!! Only rugs I’ve ever seen on walls that didnt look tacky were made my SW American Indians and hung on walls or over railings from 2nd floor railing or on very high wall in a Southwesten type/style home — not in a regular house. As for persians — not on walls — floors, try dinning room. Is it really an ugly design or color(s) — sell it on ebay !!! Keep girlfriend — she has taste !!!
