How to keep throw rugs in place (on wood floor)?
I would rather not tape down edges.

You can buy a rubber/vinyl lining to place under it. It is the rubber/vinyl type stuff that you line your kitchen cabinets with. It is great because you can throw it in the washer with your laundry when it needs to be washed, or spray it off with a hose or in your shower.

They go under the throw rug and grip the floor preventing many sprained ankles
