How much do I price my antique persian Tabriz rug?

I have an antique tabriz rug that is 10’3×13 and in fabulous condition. What is the best way to fairly price this piece? It has no stains and still has beautiful vibrant colors. I have tried to gather this information via search engines, but have had no luck. I have found these rugs priced from 0.00 to ,000.00. HELP!!!

    I’d say about $4000 to $5000 altough I could be wrong. Since it is an antique it might be worth over $10000. You never know.

    Here is a tip. If you live in southern California go talk to a Persian rug dealer. There are about 9 million Persians in that area. Especially in Los Angeles there are bound to be more than a few Persian rug dealers.

    Oh and you should have given us a link to a picture of it. Design plays a very large role in determining price.

    There are many other factors to consider, such as whether the weaver’s signature is on it, the actual age, and whether it was actually made in Tabriz or it is simply a copy of their style. It’s best to get it appraised by a rug dealer who has good knowledge in antiques. There’s no way an amateur could fairly determine a price.
