How can you get highlighter stain out of the rug or is there anyway you can?
My 2 year old got a hold of a pink highlighter and marked all over the rug by my desk and I can’t seem to get it to come out. Though I did try the Goo Gone and that didn’t seem to do anything.

You can try WD-40., but after you rub the stain out, you have to use a little bit of soap & water, to rinse off the WD-40.
Electronic Cleaner works very good also. You can get that at any automotive store or "Radio Shack" and you don’t have to rinse that out.
Did you try resolve? Or oxiclean? What color was the rug?
Martha says if you have a bleach stain on the carpet, to get one of those rainbow of color markers set (not water-soluable) and find the color that most matches your rug, and literally paint your rug with that marker, hoping it won’t be noticeable.
So if worse comes to worst–bleach the pink out and recolor it with a marker.
