For interior designers Im in desperate need (Brown shaggy rug for a teen)?
Well Im a teenager and Im moving in a couple of weeks with my mom and we are going to be renting an apartment and well my room has brown shaggy carpet and its not what I imagine but anyway I want to be an interior designer when Im older so I thought that this might help get started in my career by first working with my room but see Idk how I can work with brown shaggy carpet it looks like its from the 70s so what Im asking is what colors can I use to work with the carpet? I want a fun place to hangout with my friends since I cant get the carpet removed I have to work around it. so any suggestions? HELP PLEASE

A few color schemes look great with brown.
Shades from aqua to turquoise look fantastic with brown. And, adding some tan and or white will also go very well with the blue. You will find many accessories in these color combinations, so you’ll be able to pull it all together. With these colors, you could also add coral (not pink and not orange) for a great pop of color.
Another pleasing color combination are earthy/spicy colors like burnt oranges, golden yellows, rusty reds…the colors of autumn.
Another compliment to brown is pink.
You would be wise to go shopping and find your bedding. Because from there you can get color ideas for the walls. If you buy your bedding first, paint colors will then be a breeze to select from there. If you paint your room a random color, finding bedding can be a nightmare to match the walls.
So, go shopping and get yourself some inspiration.
