It says it made of a synthetic material. That usually means it s a nylon which is good , but it could mean olefin or polyester, which are good at keeping stains out but they are a softer material. If this is a high traffic area , I d be cautious about using it. If its more for decoration and to go in the living or family room I think it d be fine.
