can i wash those fuzzy bathroom rug things that have the rubber base?
I heard you’re not supposed to wash them because the rubber part wrecks your other clothes, and also the dryer will melt them and tear it to shreds.
How am i supposed to clean these stupid things?

You can definitely wash them – make the load up only of rugs and/or towels, as suggested, since both of them give up a lot of lint, and wash them on a regular or gentle cycle. You can also generally dry them in a dryer on low heat, which will avoid melting the rubber backing.
Watch out, they sometimes give up so much lint that they can clog the washer! (I learned this the expensive way, with the help of a plumber…) A commercial washer at a laundromat will get you around that problem.
Those can be tricky to wash.
Wash them separately in cold water only.
Air dry, don’t put in the dryer.
If the rubber part looks like it’s cracking and worn, then I wouldn’t even do that.
If you have a lot of them, you might want to get a small upholstery cleaner or something like that if they need washing. Those rugs need replacing now and then because the rubbery backing does rot after time with wear and temperature.
