Can anyone suggest a cheap 5×8 or larger rug that would look good with chocolate-brown carpet?
I know, chocolate brown, gag me with a spoon, right!? Anyhow, I need a cheap rug for my cheap apartment.
I will also have a pistachio green bathroom, what will cordinate with that!?

If you are looking for one that is new but inexpensive, check your local family dollar. They usually have quite a few to choose from and, at least here in PA, they are $20 or under.
If you are looking for color suggestions, you may want to find a print with another color(s) you like in it that has just a little chocolate brown to bring all the colors together…then use the ‘other’ colors for planning the rest of your decor to play down the brown.
As far as the bathroom, start with the shower curtain. Find one that you really like that has just enough pistachio in it to match well….then also use the other colors in it to choose the main color for you bath decor.
A persian rug. But I would have one that was too expensive, because I could not afford it. If you can, then find one that blends all of your colors together well. If you cannot, then go to Big Lots or another distribution center and look. We got a great one for this house 5X7 I think, and it wasn’t too expensive. Pulls a room together.
