The truth is that for many, the rush and the thrill of the January sales can get a bit too much. Discount rug vouchers for cheap rugs?

Discount vouchers or all the rage, especially online. You can get discount vouchers for almost anything these days, including … yes, you guessed it: rugs!
Many online rug shops offer discount vouchers for rugs, we notice, and this is a great thing of course: it means rug shoppers can get cheaper rugs.
Of course we can’t vouch for the quality of anybody else’s rugs any more than they can vouch for the quality of our own rugs, but we’re assuming here that the discount vouchers for rugs are going to help consumers buy high-quality rugs are much cheaper than they would have done otherwise.
That’s the theory anyway.
So at this point you may be wondering…
Why doesn’t Modern Style Rugs offer discount vouchers for rugs?
The answer is very simple, and you can probably see it coming!
Ever heard of reward points? Every shopper in the UK has probably been exposed to reward points in the form of loyalty cards at one point or another.
Loyalty cards enable supermarkets and retail stores in general to offer consumers a discount in exchange for their personal details (including what they habitually shop for).
The perceived value of the loyalty card are of course the reward points.
At least one major supermarket that we know of doesn’t offer a loyalty card. At first this may seem surprising, especially in the face of all the competing supermarket giants who do offer loyalty cards for their customers.
However their reasoning is sound as a pound (no pun intended). By offering their products at the lowest possible cost, they removed the need for a loyalty card.
Not every consumer is keen on having a loyalty card, so technically not everybody benefits from the discounts offered. However, when you offer discounts right across the board, everybody gets to benefit.
