100% acrylic shaggy rug!?

I have a cream rug & was thinking about buying a new red one, but to save money I was wondering if there was anyway I could dye the cream one red? Has anyone ever done this or is it not advisable?

  1. timmy says:

acrylic doesn’t accept any type of dye

only natural fibers like wool, silk, or cotton accept dyes

fabrics like acrylic, polyester, lycra..the color is already added into the chemicals that make the fabric fibers.
